James was born into the property business, the son of successful property owners and landlords. He has a wealth of experience from a young age assisting with the family business. After graduating from Northumbria University with a first-class degree in Business and Financial Management, James has since held employment in compliance and due diligence for a corporate company while being a self-managing agent or landlord and knows how to formulate and secure deals below market value.

His first property was purchased using the buy, refurbish, and refinance strategy, with him personally undertaking the majority of the work himself to keep costs to a minimum. His first deal was secured at £45k (26%) below the asking price, a key factor in being able to recycle funds for further investment purchases.

He’s lived in York and Newcastle Upon Tyne, and he has a strong understanding of different investment strategies and the overall UK property market.

Imogen grew up in Lincolnshire, moved to Leeds for university, where she graduated in 2016, and subsequently bought her first new-build house in 2019. Since relocating to York, the Leeds-based property is now tenanted under our self-managed portfolio. After realising there are many who don't have the time to grow or manage a property portfolio, we both decided to immerse ourselves in the property world, expanding our portfolio and building a sustainable future with others.
